Broken Hearted Boy

When a relationship fails, it saddens both the partners. Though girls cry their hearts out, the boys who are left with a broken heart, do not cry so easily. Shedding tears isn’t considered manly by most of the societies, anyway. Men are supposed to be tough and strong. But a boy’s (or for that matter, even a girl’s) troubled mind usually fails to arrive at a logical decision. No wonder, several other problems are added to the heartache caused by a broken heart.

Here are some of the misfortunes that boys usually go through after an unsuccessful affair has left them with a broken heart:

• Quickly Jumping Into A New Relationship ‘This can be termed as a jump only, because it’s too quick. The broken hearted boy dumped for somebody else has a bruised ego. In order to feel pampered by a beloved once again, he usually forgets that if he does not try to find the next partner sensibly, he may be dumped once again!
• Alcohol ‘Many take to alcohol or even drugs. It’s not wise at all. If you are dumped, it does not mean that you invite 20 other problems. Alcohol and drugs have never been a blessing to anybody.
• Lack of Trust ‘The people who are cheated upon for no valid reason, usually fail to trust others. A boy whose girlfriend dumps him for another may think that all girls are like that (in extreme cases, of course!). It’s wiser to retain your trust in humanity at large.
• Irritability and Bad Tempers ‘Many boys tend to get irritated for no reason at all. They even begin to lose temper. Their hurt egos do not allow them to confess that they want their girlfriends back in their lives. Now they must give vent to their anger whenever they get a chance. Though they are hurt by their girlfriends, they keep getting angry with all those around.
• Obsession with Work ‘Some tend to get obsessed with work. Though it’s better to drown your sorrows in work rather than alcohol, excess of everything is bad. It’s fine if you work hard, but try to spare some time for your personal life as well. Your girlfriend was not the only one dear to you. If you smile, the life smiles back. You may be happy again. And someone may fall in love with you!

However, the wise only come out to be stronger even after he/she has suffered from a broken heart. So what if your ex-girlfriend does not care for you anymore? Let the worthless person suffer. She has already lost you. But if you think and behave sensibly, you may be happy again. And if you make it a point, not to repeat the past mistakes, your new relationship may be a lasting one. Retain your will power. Come out to be stronger. If you are worth it, you will be much happier in the near future than what you had been in the past!
